We're excited to welcome Bernardo Faria, Dominyka Obelnenyte and other special guests to Bellingham for the first ever Gi To Sea festival!
This is nearly a full week of special events, from Thursday, March 6 until Monday night, March 10. Registering for this all-week ticket gets you access to EVERYTHING, including ALL the special classes with Dominyka and other guest instructors, and also includes the Bernardo Faria seminar.
The full week ticket is $100 for members, $120 for non-members.
The Bernardo seminar by itself is $80 for members, $120 for non-members, and each special class will be $30, so if you think you'll go to at least two special classes, this is a great deal.
Tentative schedule:
THURSDAY, March 6: Outdoor rolling sessions, weather permitting
Special guest instructor for at least one class
FRIDAY, March 7 Day classes: special guest instructor
Evening: Special class with Dominyka Obelenyte
SATURDAY, March 8
Bernardo Faria seminar, 11 a.m.
SUNDAY, March 9
Regular morning class at Bellingham BJJ, but we also shut down Commercial Street at Holly St. for an art fair featuring outdoor events.
Art vendors will run booths from 10 a.m.-5 p.m., BJJ from noon-5 p.m. The booths will be around a big outdoor mat where we can do grappling events.
We will also have food trucks and music, as well as artistic performances.
At 11 a.m., Dominyka Obelynyte will set up a public art performance: hand-painting gis that will be one-of-a-kind. At noon, we do a judo demonstration of about an hour.

MONDAY NIGHT Getaway day: All day features classes with visiting guest instructors, with a special Monday night class
